All films that are submitted must match the requirement of each category. There is no premiere requirement. If you are a student and are submitting under the college student category, you must provide proof that the film was done while you were in fact a student attending a film school/college. If you are a high school student and are submitting under the high school student category, you must show proof that you are in fact a high school student and or were a high school student during completion of the project; and all major roles must be filled by someone that is of 18 years or under.
This is an horror genre only film festival. Please take that into consideration when submitting your film. It must be a horror type film. If your film can easily be classified as a horror genre film, this is the right place to submit it. Horror, terror, thriller, all within the horror like spectrum fits the horror genre. However, if your film does not match what can easily be classified as a horror genre film and you submit your project, it will be disqualified and no monies will be refunded.

Categories:
Feature Length - The length of the feature film must be at least 60 minutes or more. Nothing less than 60 minutes.
Short Films - The length of the short film must be at most 30 minutes or less.
College Student Short Films - The length of the short film must be at most 30 minutes or less. Must be a student at a college or film school during the time of production. The film must have been done as a requirement for a course/class. Proof of student ID and class registration during time of production is required. Along with a letter from a administration faculty member or professor, verifying the film was in fact produced and filmed during school.
High School Student Short Films - The length of the short film must be at most 20 minutes or less. Must be a student attending a high school or lesser grade. NO COLLEGE STUDENTS. Must show proof that you were in fact a high school (or lesser grade) student during production of film. Must be at least 18 years or less of age, and provide a letter by a guardian or parent to give permission of screening (if selected) and to verify that you were in fact a high school or lesser grade student during the filming. Does not require the film be for school. All major roles must have been by same or other high school students of 18 years of age or younger during production. By major roles, we mean: writer, director, cinematographer and editor. Actors can be any age.
PLEASE READ! We have been disqualifying a lot of films that do NOT fit this category! Filmmakers are submitting just because it's free. Those that do that, are wasting their time and ours! If your film was not done by a person(s) 18 years of age or under...DO NOT SUBMIT TO THIS CATEGORY! It is that simple! Your film will not even be looked at and WE (all the industry professionals and judges working this festival) will note down the names of those that waste our time by submitting a film that does not fit this category just because its free!
