There are no limits nor criteria for selection, nor themes or techniques. All movies must be children and family friendly. All content submitted to us must be in English or with English subtitles. All successful entries will need to provide a ProRes, with English and original subtitles in text or burnt in. We will be choosing approximately no more than 10 feature / short films to be showcased on our official facebook page and each film for no more than 48 hours. No screening fee will be offered, but if we will send back translation in our local language for your use if that becomes available. The link will be geolocked to only Hong Kong audience. Selected films will be contacted by our staff directly.
Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.
We may promote your film through social media, for which we may require all available promotional materials.
By submitting to us you give us the right to screen your film at HK Kids International Film Festival (KIFF) and KIFF Short Film Festival.
We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances, which all filmmakers will be informed about through our online platforms.
By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.
Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival (KIFF) reserves the right of final decisions in case of disputes.
