HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL is an independent film competition and live screening event combined with a unique opportunity for PR geared toward independent filmmakers worldwide.
Making an independent movie is a challenge and we here at HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL want to help you put your film on the path to success with all of the recognition, notoriety and accolades you and your film deserve.
As HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS and FESTIVAL is committed to showcasing TRULY independent films, we are dedicated to finding those "hidden gems" that may otherwise be overlooked by the bigger festivals because of the lack of name recognition or budget.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be screening selected winning films at PARAMOUNT STUDIOS in Hollywood in 2021. Invaluable exposure for your hard work! ***DUE TO THE CURRENT WORLDWIDE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE LIVE SCREENING WILL BE PUSHED TO THE YEAR 2021.

Our live screening event at Paramount Studios will include a day of festivities including multiple screenings, filmmaker Q&A's, red carpet arrivals and photographs and delivering of awards to winning filmmakers.

Located in the heart of Hollywood, the judges of HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS range from former studio executives and talent managers to award winning independent filmmakers with a combined experience of over 40 years in the entertainment industry.
If your film is selected for an AWARD, you will be notified via email as an "Official Selection" and you will receive an "Official Selection" laurel.
Each category will have their own set of AWARDS that will be broken down into the sections below:

BEST OF FESTIVAL
BEST OF FESTIVAL will be awarded to the ONE chosen project, regardless of category, which HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS deems to be the "best of the best" among all of the submissions to the festival.

LIVE SCREENINGS
LIVE SCREENINGS will be selected among the WINNERS of the HOLLYWOOD INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER AWARDS.
WINNING projects chosen to screen, will be honored to show their film on the back lot at PARAMOUNT STUDIOS in Hollywood, California, ***DUE TO THE WORLDWIDE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, SCREENINGS WILL BE PUSHED TO 2021, along with a red carpet and filmmaker Q&A.
