HATCH has evolved from the early days into a community, movement, and a series of experiences designed to ACTIVATE CREATIVITY to HATCH a better world. In it’s 14th year, HATCH Experience is a four day annual retreat meets summit gifted to 150 of the most provocative innovators, inventors, and cultural catalysts — across a wide range of disciplines to offer 360 degree peer to peer mentoring to refuel and reignite your creative soul. We mix this group with up and coming students, and entrepreneurs to further ignite a vibrant entrepreneurial landscape.
Central to HATCH is cultivating the next generation of creative leaders.
Each year HATCH selects up to 10 “Groundbreakers” who have shown exceptional talent and dedication to their work.
Submissions have been received from nearly 100 countries, and these high-potential innovators have come from as far as Pakistan, Singapore, Australia, the UK, Uzbekistan, and across the US. Never has there been a more important time for our world to nurture these talents. Their stories transcend careers and commerce, and are centered on world evolution and how we solve substantial global problems and create new opportunities by inspiring and fostering a voice for the thought leaders who will lead us into the future.
So far, HATCH has sponsored more than 170 Groundbreakers and has impacted over 5,000 students directly.
Intel is thrilled to sponsor this creative film contest in partnership with HATCH. At Intel we are passionate about all forms of creative innovation and believe in mentoring, cultivating, and HATCHING that spark in the next generation of creators.
Every year we strive to find the most talented young filmmakers in the world and help them to connect with mentors from the industry. Any students whose films are accepted will have their accommodations paid for by the festival and receive a voucher towards their flight to the festival city.
