While the festival always considers films that have been screened at other film festivals or have been picked up for distribution, the festival refrains from programming films that have had DVD sales or online streaming prior to the completion of the 2019 Green Mountain Film Festival.
Works in progress are not considered. Please submit films in their final, complete state.
All entries must be submitted as an online screener (Vimeo link accepted) through Filmfreeway.com or on DVD (NTSC, Region 0 and 1). No Blu-Ray prescreeners please.
All entries must either be in the English language or be subtitled in the English language.
ONLY ENTER FILMS IN ONE CATEGORY. We will disqualify films if they are submitted in multiple categories, or if entered into the wrong category.
DEADLINES
All film submissions must be uploaded or postmarked by the category deadlines as published here.
DVD submissions will not be returned.
SHIPPING
Please package any DVDs accordingly. You will be notified if the screener arrives damaged or fails to play. The Green Mountain Film Festival/Focus on Film does not assume liability for damage to entries during shipping due to mishandling or poor packaging.
Please ship DVD screeners and exhibition prints (if chosen) to:
