About the festival

The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) is looking for local Central Ohio artists to create video, animation and motion graphic content for their 60’ W x 7’H LED video wall “Digital Canvas” to be run throughout the year. Located inside the convention center between the North and South Buildings is a highly-visible major Concourse providing access to both ends of the convention center as well as the main entrance off of High Street. The GCCC has over 1 million visitors each year.

A total of $10,000 will be awarded to finalists and winners.

Terms and rules

Aspect Ratio is 9:1 or 4500px x 480px. NO OTHER ASPCT RATIO WILL BE ACCEPTED
Accepted Format: .mp4, H.264 codec. Files should be at least HD quality. 4k is preferred. If a lesser quality is provided, the image on screen will appear grainy/pixelated. Video's should be no longer that 2 minutes in length. The theme for creative content to be displayed on this “Digital Canvas” is open but should be “G” rated. This last sentence needs to be repeated...the theme for creative content is open. A selection committee comprised of local professionals and art curators will judge all entries to be considered for viewing on the Digital Canvas.
