GAZTEFILMFEST
The fifth edition of “GaztefilmFest - Gazte eta umeentzako zinema jaialdia” will be held in Vitroria-Gasteiz in november of 2021.
The particularity of the festival´s program is to bring contemporary non-commercialy distributed films and short-films for children and youngsters.
The criteria for selecting those, will be the cinematographic quality, technic and stylistic eclecticism (animation, documentary, fiction) and subject diversity, highlighting the ones such as solidarity, empathy among nations and the different human rights´ related troubles, violence and migration that affect the whole world, including us.
This festival is articulated by workshops for children and youngsters that keep developing in the different steps of the project: films pre-selection, selection and curating of the programs, communication and graphic design and even the presentation of the final programs to the audience. In order to achieve that, the festival works closely with the schools to involve the children in an active way.
*Participation proposal:
We receive all audiovisual fiction, animation, documentary and experimental works for children made in the last 2 years (including 2019). We welcome all languages as long as the subtitles and/or transcription of the dialogues in euskera, spanish or english are provided. We do not accept dubbed films.
This is the first festival in the world ever to have such particularities as the ones explained, where more than 130 children and youngsters will be responsible for the result of it.

*Information for the sending of films:
In order to participate, films must be sent before october 30th.
*Register and selected films:
The films must be sent through the FilmFreeway platform. You will allow the festival to download your film, if they require so, in order to arrange a pre-screener with the children programming.
The person responsible of sending the film once it is selected, (author, producer, distributor) compromises to provide a copy of the piece and other materials before the 30th of october.
The festival will consider the subtitling or dubbing of dialogues of the non-euskera or spanish films. In order to make it possible, it is necessary to provide the audio files, subtitles (in spanish or english in srt. or similar formats) and dialogues with their correspondent time-codes in english or spanish at the time of registering the films, through the platform or e-mail.
*Other requirements:
The person in charge of sending the film declares to be the author or to be in possession of the rights of the piece.
Once the film is sent, the consent is given to Gaztefilmfest to use the name, pictures and/or clips of itself in order to promote the festival and its itinerant program.

GAZTEFILM
“GaztefilmFest - Gazte eta umeentzako zinema jaialdia”-ren bostgarren edizioa, Gasteizen ospatuko da 2021eko azaroan.
Jaialdi hau bereizten duena, zirkuitu komertzialetik aldentzen den gazte eta umeei zuzendutako ikus-entzunezko obrak erakustearen grina da.
Aukeraketa irizpideak filmen kalitatea, ekliktizismo tekniko eta estilistikoa (animazioa, dokumentala, fikzioa) eta gai aniztasuna izango dira. Gainera, elkartasuna, herrien arteko adiskidetasuna, giza eskubideen arazoak, biolentzia eta migrazioa, gaur egun pil-pilean dauden gaiak izanda, garrantzia berezia dute guretzat.
Jaialdi honen produkzioa, umeekin egindako lantegietan oinarritzen da eta proiektuaren fase ezberdinetan garatzen joango da: filmen aurre-aukeraketa, aukeraketa eta programen komisariotza, komunikazio eta diseinu grafikoa, eta baita programa finalen aurkeztea jaialdiaren publikoari. Horretarako, estu lan egingo da eskolekin, bai lehen zein bigarren hezkuntzak, ikasleen parte-hartze aktiboa lortzeko.
Mundu osoan horrelako berezitasunak dituen jaialdi bakarra da Gaztefilm, non 130 ume eta gazte baino gehiagok aurrera aterako duten hurrengo edizioa.
*Parte-hartze proposamena:
Umeei zuzendutako ikus-entzunezko fikzio, animazio, dokumental edo lan esperimental guztiak onartzen ditugu, betiere azkenengo bi urtetan ekoiztu badira (2019 urtea barne). Edozein hizkuntzan egindako lanak hartuko dira, euskera, gaztelera edo ingeleseko azpitituluak edota elkarrizketen transkripzioak errazten diren bitartean. Ez dira bikoiztutako filmak onartuko.
*Izen-ematea hurrengo sailetan egin ahal izango da:

-Txiki saileko film laburrak (3 eta 6 urte bitarteko publikoarentzat)
-Haur saileko film laburrak (6 eta 12 urte bitarteko publikoarentzat)
-Gazte saileko film laburrak (12 urte eta gehiagoko publikoarentzat)
-Umeek egindako film laburrak
Film luzeak (animazioa, fikzioa, dokumentala edo esperimentala)
-Haur saileko film luzea (6 eta 12 urte bitarteko publikoarentzat)
-Gazte saileko film luzeak (12 urte baino gehiagoko publikoarentzat)
*Filmak bidaltzeko informazioa:
Filmen parte-hartzerako, urriaren 30a baino lehen bidali beharko dute.
*Erregistratzea eta aukeratutako filmak:
Filmak FilmFreeway plataformaren bidez bidali beharko dira. Baimena emango zaio jaialdiari filma deskargatzeko, ume programatzaileekin pre-screener bat egin ahal izateko.
Behin aukeratuta, filma bidaltzearen arduradunak (errealizadorea, ekoizlea, banatzailea) urriaren 30a baino lehen lanaren kopia bat eta beste edozein material bidaltzera konprometitzen da.
Euskera edo gaztelera ez diren hizkuntzetan dauden filmetarako, jaialdiak azpititulu zein bikoizketa egitea baloratuko da. Horretarako, beharrezkoa izango da audio artxiboak, azpitituluak (euskera edo inglesez, srt. edo antzerako formatuetan) eta elkarrizketak bidaltzea, haien denbora kodigoekin ingelez, euskera zein gazteleraz filma igotzerako orduan, bai plataforma bidez edota mail bidez.
*Beste baldintzak:
Filma bidaltzeko arduraduna, lanaren autorea edo honen eskubideen jabe dela adierazten du.
Behin filma bidalita, Gaztefilmfest-i baimena ematen zaio honen izena eta irudiak erabiltzeko, jaialdiaren eta bere ekintza ibiltarien promozioa egiteko.

GAZTEFILMFEST
La QUINTA edición de “GaztefilmFest - Gazte eta umeentzako zinema jaialdia” se llevará a cabo la ciudad de Vitoria Gasteiz en el mes de noviembre de 2021.
La programación de este festival se caracterizará por traer obra audiovisual juvenil e infantil contemporánea de todo el mundo que no se exhibe en los circuitos comerciales.
Los criterios de selección serán la calidad cinematográfica, eclecticismo técnico y estilístico (animación, documental y ficción) y diversidad temática, haciendo especial hincapié en temas de solidaridad y empatía entre pueblos, las distintas problemáticas de derechos humanos, violencia y migración que se están dando en el mundo y por ende, en nuestro entorno cada vez más cercano.
La producción de este festival se articula mediante talleres para niños, niñas y jóvenes, que se irán desarrollando en las diferentes fases del proyecto: la preselección de las películas, la selección y el comisariado de los programas, la comunicación y el diseño gráfico, hasta la presentación final de los programas ante el público del festival. Para ello, se trabajará estrechamente con los centros escolares tanto de educación primaria como de secundaria para implicar activamente a su alumnado.
Este es el primer festival de cine del mundo con estas características donde más de 130 jóvenes serán las responsables de poner en pie esta edición.
*Propuestas de participación:
Recibimos todas las obras audiovisuales de ficción, animación, documental o experimental dirigidas y/o pensadas para un público infantil y/o juvenil, realizadas en los últimos dos años (aquellas realizadas en 2019 inclusive). Las películas puede ser en cualquier idioma siempre y cuando cuenten con subtítulos y/o transcripción de diálogos al euskera, castellano o inglés. No se reciben películas dobladas.
*Podrán inscribirse en las siguientes categorías:
(SI LA OBRA NO ESTÁ INSCRITA EN LA CATEGORÍA QUE LE CORRESPONDA SE DESESTIMARÁ/ INSCRIBIR EN UNA ÚNICA CATEGORÍA)
Cortometrajes (animación, ficción, documental o experimental). Hasta 15 mins, en alguna de las siguientes categorías:
-Cortometrajes Sección Txiki (Dirigidos a un público entre 3 a 6 años)
-Cortometrajes Sección Infantil (Dirigidos a un público entre 6 y 12 años)
-Cortometrajes Sección Juvenil (Dirigidos a un público +12 años)
-Cortometrajes realizados por niñas y niños
Largometrajes (animación, ficción, documental o experimental)
-Largometrajes Sección Infantil (Dirigidos a un público entre 6 y 12 años)
-Largometrajes Sección Juvenil (Dirigidos a un público +12 años)
*Información para el envío de películas:
Para su participación las obras deberán enviarse antes del 30 de octubre.
*Registro y películas seleccionadas:
Las películas deberán enviarse a través de la plataforma FilmFreeway. (link a la plataforma) Se dará autorización al festival para descargar la película, si así lo pidiera, para su pre-screener con los niños y niñas programadoras.
La persona responsable de enviar la película una vez seleccionada, (realizador, productor o distribuidor) se compromete a entregar una copia de la obra y demás materiales antes del 30 de octubre.
Para los cortometrajes en idiomas diferentes al euskera o castellano, el Festival valorará subtitular o doblar los diálogos. Para ello es necesario entregar los archivos de audio, subtítulos (en castellano o inglés en formato srt. o similar) y diálogos con sus correspondientes códigos de tiempo en inglés o español en el mismo momento de inscribir las películas vía plataforma o por mail.
*Otros requisitos:
El responsable de enviar la película declara ser el autor o tener los derechos sobre la obra presentada.
Al enviar la película se autoriza a Gaztefilmfest a utilizar el nombre, fotos y/o clips de la película con fines de promoción del festival y su muestra itinerante.
