GAGARIN.DOC 2020
Digital. The theme of digitalization is actively raised both in modern liberal arts and in art projects. The festival provides an opportunity for a unique integrated approach to understand how the “digital” becomes the new universal code of humankind replacing the text.
Digital technologies irreversibly become an element of everyday’s life, they penetrate into all activity spheres, rebuilding the functioning algorithms of science, culture and education.
The festival program is made to reveal the possibilities and contradictions of digital technology. To manage the direction of the festival and its program it was used the metaphor of the “digital footprint”:

2. The digital footprint in science (a series of lectures read by philosophers, culturologists, physicists, computer scientists, etc., revealing various aspects of the possible usage of digital technologies in science and culture).
3. The digital footprint in education (a round table with the Russian specialists dealing with the areas of digital technology use at various levels of education, along with their opportunities and risks).
