The Festival provides 4 categories:
- CortoRagazzi (reserved to individual filmmakers under 19 years);
- CinemaGiovane (reserved to filmmakers who use children or young people - no older than 19 years of age - as protagonists of their films);
- CortoScuola (reserved to schools, with the proper distinction among the various levels);
- Music Video (reserved to young authors of music videos).
The contest provides a selection of the submitted works, compiled unquestionably by the Festival Management, that will weigh artistic and cultural values of the works, and the maximum number of hours of projection in the program. The selected works will be presented, commented and projected in Rome from 30 March to 5 April 2020 (more details will be communicated both on the Festival website and via email to each participant).
• Every school, associations or filmmaker can participate by sending a maximum of two work, together with the entry form.
• Works of fiction (of any kind), animated shorts, music videos and other narrative audiovisual works are admissible.
• Open theme.
• Also, every short needs to comply with the following characteristics:
Duration1: no longer than 15 minutes (opening and closing credits included);
Language: Italian (foreign language works need to have Italian subtitles);
Format: MOV – MPEG.
• On the entry form, participants need to specify the category participating in, otherwise the entry will not be accepted.
