How to enter:
1. Submit a link to your comedic short film, no longer than 15 minutes. No digital files, DVDs or VHS tapes accepted.
2. Pay the $15, non-refundable submission fee.
3. Top 3 finalists will be announced/featured on the festival's website and social media.
4. Winners will be notified and invited to appear at the festival.
Grand Prize:
Screening of the winning film at Upstate Films in Woodstock on Sunday, September 20, 2015. Filmmakers/talent to partcipate in a Q&A following the screening.
Runners Up:
Films showcased on WoodstockComedyFestival.org.
Why are we doing this?
In our 3rd year, the Woodstock Comedy Festival (WCF) is a young, thriving organization that wants to foster young, thriving comedic talent. But for more than the cause of comedy. Proceeds from the WCF benefit charities in the battles against domestic violence and human trafficking.
Fine Print:
Winners will be decided by a select jury of comedy professionals and presided over by the festival executives.
By entering you agree that you all your material has been created by you and is your intellectual property.
By entering you agree to let the Woodstock Comedy Festival use video of your material for promotion of this award and/or the festival, on any official festival communication (i.e. website, social media, and all forms in perpetuity).
