About the festival

"For The Good of The People" is a long-running, narrative world. Originating from the film of the same name, FTGOTP is about horrific takes on Utopia. Stories that range from thrillers, to dark dramas, to horrors about ideas intended on being for the sake of humanity, but inevitably went terribly wrong. Think: Social thrillers, dystopian, sci-fi, oppressive governments, false-Utopia, etc. The span of stories is VAST! Though this niche of stories has never been so relevant as it is in today's world. So share your stories that fall into the realm of "For The Good of The People"

The festival will be an opportunity to get this incredible, relevant and socially-frightening work on the big screen. Finalists will be invited to walk the red carpet, attend the private, networking event with other filmmakers, producers and industry professionals within this niche, and win awards at the ceremony. From there, the winners will be invited to a be a part of a much bigger project. A greater whole, to really take their work to the next level if they so desire.
