The Food Film Festival has been based and has grown from a succesfull Life Sciences Festival co-founded by University of Life Sciences in Prague. The topic of films screened during Food Film Festival has of course one common background - "food" - but in all possible meanings of the word: agriculture, economics, science, production, environment, health and/or a pure joy from food. A screening of films on Food Film Festival is usually accompanied by lecture or seminars. Co-founder of Food Film Festival is "Kampus Dejvice", the organization associated by Czech Technical University in Prague, Univerzity of Chemistry and Technology, Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry and Charles University in Prague.
