Das FiSH - Filmfestival im StadtHafen Rostock - ist seit 2004 mit mehr als 3.500 Besuchern im Jahr eines der wichtigsten Filmevents für junge Filmemacher aus Deutschland.
Das Filetstück des Festivals ist der bundesweite Wettbewerb JUNGER FILM, bei dem die jungen Filmemacher die Chance auf bis zu 9.000€ bekommen. Das Besondere am FiSH: die Filme werden von der Jury, bestehend aus Regisseuren, Schauspielern, Kritikern oder Autoren, öffentlich auf der Bühne diskutiert.
Abgerundet wird das Festival durch Spielfilme und Dokumentationen aus Deutschland und dem Ostseeraum, einem regionalem Musikvideowettbewerb, Kurzfilmen aus einem jährlich wechselndem Gastland sowie Online Talk Shows mit Filmemachern, Filmnerds und YouTubern.

Since 2004 the FiSH film festival in the city harbour of Rostock, Germany is with more than 3.500 visitors one of the most important annual film events for young german filmmakers.
The center of the festival is the german-wide competition JUNGER FILM, which shows the best short films from young talents who get the chance of winning up to 9.000 €. The films will be publicly discussed by directors, writers, critics and other film experts in front of the audience.
In addition the festival program shows films and documentaries from Germany or the baltic region, awards the best music video in Mecklenburg-Westpommerania, presents short films from a guest country in the baltic region and offers online talk shows with filmmakers, filmnerds and youtubers.
