The very first Old Gaslight Theater Short Film Festival will be held in the historic Old Gaslight Theater in Historic Sistersville, West Virginia on October 9th 2020* (date may be changed due to Covid-19 situation-notification will be given if this is the case). The festival will culminate with red carpet, awards reception and presentation with local media in attendance.
This is a very special festival co-sponsored by multi-award wining film and TV writer Dave Shelton (Everbody Loves Raymond, National Lampoon) and the Old Gaslight Theater owner, Terry Wiley.
Sistersville is a town with a deep history in entertainment. Set along the Ohio River, it has hosted Presidents and Hollywood stars from the silent era up to today including executives from Disney. It has also been the setting for several high profile films including Night of the Hunter,
The Old Gaslight Theater is a classic venue over 100 years old whose updated state of the art projection and sound systems make for an amazing location for the festival.
AWARDS RECEPTION will be held in The GOLD DERRICK GALLERY immediately after the festival. Festival is not responsible for transportation or lodging to the Festival or Reception.

*CASH AWARDS and PLAQUES for first place in each category
CERTIFICATES for second and third place
CERTIFICATES for BEST DIRECTOR and CINEMATOGRAPHY
EACH WINNER will receive LAURELS for their IMDB and website
*All awards will be mailed in case winners can't attend festival (cash awards can be paid through paypal). Cash prize amount to be determined.
