FeKK is the biggest international short film festival in Slovenia, with a competition programme focused on the young cinema of the Ex-Yugoslavian countries on one side and a national competition programme on the other. Accompanying programme brings retrospectives, guest festivals, thematic programmes, workshops, panel discussions, masterclasses, boat rides, parties and more.
The festival takes place in the scenic centre of Ljubljana with venues that consist of the Slovenian Cinematheque's cinema, a location for open air screenings at the Metelkova's Museum District, Kinodvor - City Cinema and elsewhere, underground and alternative venues such as ROG and Metelkova included. The festival tries to tie together authors, producers, festival selectors and other professionals from the region.
The sixth edition of FeKK - Ljubljana Short Film Festival will take place between 17th and 22th of August in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
