Fictional and documentary short films are accepted in the categories Primary School (1st to 5th grade), Elementary School (6th to 9th grade), High School, Youth and Adult Education, Universities and Film Schools (submit accordingly age group), from around the world.
Entries will be accepted of productions completed by January 1, 2018.

There is no minimum length for the short films, and the maximum time should not exceed 20 minutes, including credits.
ATTENTION:
- Foreign films should provide subtitles in PORTUGUESE, SPANISH or ENGLISH, EVEN IF the film is spoken in English or Spanish.
- If the film is selected and does not have subtitles in Portuguese, the person in charge should send a version of the film WITHOUT SUBTITLES and a SEPARATED subtitles file in SPANISH or ENGLISH within 7 days after the notice, under penalty of disqualification. This is necessary so that we can TRANSLATE the captions for screen the film to our audience.
- Do not forget to provide a link that allows us to download your short. VIMEO with password will not be accepted, unless there is the option to download the file. If it is hosted on the FilmFreeway platform, please authorize the download request as quickly as possible. Failure to release the file download may also cause disqualification.
- All the winners of prizes and honorable mentions win a trophy. All trophies will be sent to their recipient as soon as possible. Since we do not charge registration fees and the festival is not for profit, there is usually a delay in shipping, but the awards ALWAYS have reached the winners. Thank you for understanding this fact.
- All films submitted may be screened during the festival and will become part of the FECEA collection for future free exhibitions. FECEA does not pay fees and will not request a new authorization for the filmmakers. When submitting the movie, keep in mind that these terms have been accepted.
- Any copyright situation is the sole responsibility of the filmmakers. By submitting the film to FECEA, participants assume that they have rights to all images and sounds used in their work, and must bear any claims that may occur.

Podem ser inscritos filmes de curta metragem de ficção e documentário nas Categorias Ensino Fundamental (1º ao 5º ano), Ensino Fundamental (6º ao 9º ano), do Ensino Médio, da Educação de Jovens e Adultos, de escolas públicas e particulares do Território Nacional e do Estrangeiros e a Categoria Especial para Universidades e Escolas de Cinema.
Serão aceitas inscrições de produções realizadas a partir de 1 de janeiro de 2018.
As inscrições serão aceitas apenas através da plataforma FilmFreeway. Se tiver qualquer dificuldade para acessá-la e inscrever seu filme, entre em contato pelo e-mail insc.fecea@gmail.com.
Não há tempo mínimo de duração dos Filmes, e o tempo máximo não deverá exceder 20 minutos, incluindo os créditos.
ATENÇÃO:
- Filmes estrangeiros deverão disponibilizar legendas em PORTUGUES, ESPANHOL ou INGLES, MESMO QUE o filme seja falado em inglês ou espanhol.
- Caso o filme seja selecionado e não possua legendas em português, o responsável deverá enviar uma versão do filme SEM LEGENDAS e um arquivo de legendas SEPARADO em ESPANHOL ou INGLÊS em até 7 dias após o aviso, sob pena de desclassificação. Isto é necessário para que possamos TRADUZIR as legendas para a exibição ao nosso público.
- Não esqueça de colocar um link que possibilite o download de seu curta. VIMEO com senha não será aceito, a não ser que haja a opção de download do arquivo. Se ele estiver hospedado no FilmFreeway, favor autorizar rapidamente se for feita a requisição de download. A não liberação do arquivo também pode provocar desclassificação.
- Todos os prêmios e menções honrosas dão direito a um TROFÉU ao vencedor. Todos os troféus serão enviados ao seu destinatário tão logo seja possível. Como não cobramos taxa de inscrição e o festival não tem fins lucrativos, normalmente há uma demora no envio, mas os prêmios SEMPRE chegaram às mãos dos vencedores. Agradecemos a compreensão para este fato.
- Todos os filmes inscritos poderão ser exibidos durante o festival e passarão a fazer parte do acervo do FECEA para futuras mostras, sem necessidade de pagamento de cachê ou novo pedido de autorização por parte dos realizadores. Ao inscrever o filme, tenha em mente que estes termos foram aceitos.
- Qualquer situação a respeito de direitos autorais é de total responsabilidade dos realizadores do filme. Ao inscrever o filme no FECEA, os participantes assumem que possuem direito sobre todas as imagens e sons utilizados em sua obra, e devem arcar com qualquer reivindicação que ocorra.
