Eyerus is a film festival open to all high-school students in the Detroit / tri-county area. Eyerus gives students a chance to have their film(s) screened in a theater, and a chance to connect with other youth film-makers. All proceeds made are donated to a local charity.
Eyerus encourages creative expression, therefore the only guideline is common sense.
You can submit newly made or pre-existing films that you or a group have made. Each submission goes through a selection process, and has a chance to be picked as an official selection in the Eyerus film festival, and shown at the Royal Oak Main Art Theater in the spring. Eyerus was founded in 2017 by the Groves Film Club. The first festival was held on April 19th, 2018.
