About the festival

EduDoc: Stories of Education is a unique international short-film competition. It captures challenges and innovations in Education space. Theme- Education: Regulatory Challenges, Innovations and Solutions. The submission deadline is 15th September 2018 and the films should be of duration 5 minutes or less. The key components of EduDoc 2018 are:
A. The competition is open for films/documentaries/animation
B. The duration of the entry should be of 5 minutes or less in length (including credits)
C. Films shot on Mobile phones are also welcome
D. If the film includes language other than English, English subtitles must be added
E. Submissions from any country are welcome
F. Entries are accepted through DVD or http://jeevika.wetransfer.com or other assigned online
G. 5 best films will be screened at School Choice National Conference 2018.
H. Entries without duly filled-in entry forms will not be considered
I. Multiple entries can be submitted but require separate entry form
J. Films once submitted cannot be withdrawn
K. Entering films for EduDoc 2018 indicates acceptance that the entered copies will be part of Centre for Civil Society library and will be available online
L. The films in our archive will not be screened commercially or sold

Best Film: USD 500/ INR 40,000

Second Best Film: USD 400/ INR 30,000

Third Best Film: USD 150/ INR 10,000

Terms and rules

Deadline is October 30, 2018.

The filmmakers can be of any nationality.

The entry could be in any language. It must have English sub-titles.

Two DVD copies (PAL format) of the film should be submitted. Each entry item should be labelled with the title, running time, the name of director and date of production. Alternatively, online uploads are accepted at https://jeevika.wetransfer.com/.

Multiple entries can be submitted, but require separate entry forms.

Films once entered cannot be withdrawn.

Entering films for EduDoc 2018 indicates the acceptance that the entered copies will be part of the Centre for Civil Society Audio-visual Documentation Library and for Screenings.

The films kept in our archive will not be screened commercially or sold.
