About the festival

After mega success of the past edition, the Diorama Film Bazaar is back. The three-day mega event in the largest consumer of cinematic content, equipment, resources and biggest producer of Content, India, the Diorama Film Bazaar brings together Content Sellers, Buyers, Producers, Directors Financiers and Governments on a single platform. We invite you to participate and find your own resources, connect with professionals, companies, Funds that you need. The DFB shall have Location Managers, Tourism Boards, acquisition and development executives, agents, attorneys, directors, distributors, OTT platforms, festival directors, financiers, film commissioners, producers, writers, film funds, film institutes, studios, the world’s press and all those who provide services to the motion picture and television industry. The event is being supported by the Film Federation of India, the apex body of all film making associations-organizations, MSM Worldwide and the Indian Film Institute.

ABOUT THE BAZAAR

Co-Production - Where new film projects are Nurtured, Funded and Co-Produced.
The First Cut - Viewing Room for new and yet to be released films for selection by Sales Agents, Distributor, Festival Director.
Short Film Center - A platform for short filmmakers for sale-purchase, showcasing.
Diorama Sessions - Conferences, Seminars on the commerce of Cinema and other A-V media.
Networking- Events & Cocktails every evening.

What happens at the Diorama Film Bazaar:
In addition to the pre-scheduled meetings with the selected Projects/Filmmaker, Financers, Producers, Companies, and film funds, which the registered participants can request before Film Bazaar, they can choose from a variety of programme offers.

Orientation Session: Renowned Producers, Director's brief the participants on the opportunities available globally and the choices of possible road maps to realize the film projects.

Mentoring Sessions: Each selected participant is allowed to spend time with highly experienced Mentors on a one to one basis from various streams of the film business, aimed at guiding and supporting the film project to its realization. These Mentors include Film Financers, International Film Producers, Top Studio Executives, Film Fund Representatives, Film Commissioners from various countries, Film Directors, Film Festival Directors/Programmers etc.

Knowledge Series: Theme Workshops, Master Classes, Talks and panels on current production, financing and technical matters offer a chance to exchange ideas with experts and other participants to the participants.

Country Session: At the Country Sessions, Film Commissioners, Government Officials provide information about production conditions and co-production, cash rebate, tax incentive opportunities in various countries through structured Presentations.

Quick Matching: At Quick Matching sessions, participating producers can develop new contacts during informal ten-minute meetings to widen their contact sphere and brighten the chances of funding of the film project.

Distribution Session: Session on film distribution.

Terms and rules

The First Cut:
Registered participants are required to fill 'Diorama Film Centre Form' sent by Diorama Film Bazaar.
1. Eligible countries: No country is barred from submission
2. No submitted materials will be returned to the sender
3. All films must have been subtitled in the English language
4. Films should have been produced after December 2018.
5. Films should conform to the code of ethics followed at the Film Festivals.
6. Diorama Film Bazaar reserves the right to reject any film without furnishing any reasons.
7. The minimum duration of a feature film being submitted should be 72 minutes.
8. For Bazaar Screening of your film in the 70 seater Bazaar Movie theatre dedicated to the 'The First Cut' section, a charge of INR 5000 will be applicable.
9. For Bazaar Screening a High-Resolution Blue Ray/DCP copy with no watermarks will be required.
10. The film copy should be subtitled in the English language for dialogues Signed Certificate from the Producer that he/she agrees to film’s participation in The First Cut, the proof of Requisite Fee paid online: receipt thereof needs to be submitted.
11. Your application must be submitted in the English language only.
12. Multiple projects can be submitted.
13. Applications shall be processed only after receipt of application fee.
14. Accommodation, Travel/Airfare of participants will be at their own expense.
15. In case of international applicants, Diorama shall issue the Invitation Letters to the Applicant, required to procure the necessary conference | business visa on his/her own. Diorama, however, will provide all the necessary documents for the same.
16. The Diorama Film Bazaar recognizes only the Director(s) and Producer(s) mentioned in the application form as project representatives who will be allowed to be present at Diorama Film Bazaar, and feature in the Diorama Film Bazaar catalogue. Any removal or replacement in the team after selection will disqualify the application.
17. The maximum number of representatives per project who can attend one-on-one meetings is limited to one.
18. The information on the application form cannot be edited once submitted.
19. The decision of the Director, Diorama Film Bazaar on the selection of an application will be final and binding.
20. The Diorama Film Bazaar reserves the right to change Terms & Conditions of the programs without prior intimation.
21. Rights of admission reserved to Diorama Film Bazaar.

SHORT FILM CENTER:
Registered participants are required to fill 'Diorama Film Centre Form' sent by Diorama Film Bazaar.

4. Films should have been produced after December 2018.

6. Diorama Short Film Center reserves the right to reject any film without furnishing any reasons.
7. As long as the film fulfils the registration criteria, the filmmakers can submit multiple films in the section provided the films’ duration of the films submitted is at least 05 (Five Minutes)
8. The maximum duration of a short film being submitted should not exceed 30 minutes.
9. Rights of admission reserved to Diorama Film Bazaar.
