Dimension 3 is an International competition welcoming Stereo 3D and 4K contents during Screen4ALL, a forum dedicated to disruptive technologies and uses for cinema, TV and communications .
The Festival offers 7 categories for the 2014 competition :
- Fiction (Feature film / TV / Short film program)
- Documentary
- Animation (single or series)
- Live Capture (Concert - Sports – Event)
- Commercial Content (Advertising - Corporate films - Graphic overlay - Music Clips - Trailers)
- Special Format (Theme park films - Museum films - Art Intallations - Experimental Programs )
- Student Film
In 2013, about 80 contents were registered to this Festival.
This year a selection of contents will be shown to professionals during the three days of Screen4ALL Forum, on October 29 & 30 at Le Centre de la Danse (Paris area) . Last year's festival screened some selected 30 films, and visitors could see "Monsieur Hublot", this short film in 3D was awarded with Dimension 3 Festival's Grand Prize and later went on to receive the american Academy Award for best animated short.

Each content awarded will receive prize package from sponsors (products or services endowments) and the winners of the four special prizes will be revealed during the awards night on October 28, during Screen4All Forum.
Last year prizes were : 3 months of subscription to the CS6 Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for 6 winners of the S3D categories/ A rental day of active 3D glasses offered by 3Deluxe and an invitation to attend a Dolby Atmos Mixing Day for two people for the winners of the
School category / A private screening at the Cercle Rouge – TSF for the ex æquo
winners of the Documentary category/ Laboratories services offered by Ymagis and
Digimage for the Fiction and Grand Prize categories winners/ A grant of 5000 euros in
equipment rental for 4K shooting offered by PhotoCineShop… And the promotion of the
4K Grand Prize offered by SES Astra as part of the SES Ultra HD experience...
