JDS Creative Academy, a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization, has reinvented what the City of Temecula recognized as the International Temecula Film and Music Festival into what is now referred to as DigiFest(R) Temecula. Digifest(R) Temecula is a vehicle for the community and region to come together and experience digital media in many creative and artistic forms. Digifest(R) Temecula is also a place to learn about industry advancements, how to pursue a career in the industry, and how to incorporate digital arts into the economic culture.

We are thrilled with the number of entries received in: Short Film and Video (30 minutes and under), Animation, Photography, Music, Website Design, Fine Art and Illustration, Podcasts, Gaming, Get your tickets now to view the winners, honorable mentions and explore the galleries!

Digifest(R) Temecula acknowledges talent in the industry at all levels and ages, incorporating 6th-12th graders, amateurs, and professionals. Thank you for being part of this year's bizarre journey...we look forward to expanding in 2021!

A Beautiful DigiAward is given to the winners chosen by a panel of Industry Professionals in the following Categories:
Films (30 minutes and under), Animation, Website Design, Comics, Photography, Music, Gaming, Podcasts, Fine Art and Illustration

A framed certificate is given in each category for People's Choice and Honorable Mention in each of the above categories

Terms and rules

How do I submit my work?
We accept short films with a runtime of 30 minutes or less via FilmFreeway. We also accept other categories via email or physical submission copies sent to, or delivered in person to our Temecula offices - Must be accompanied by a Paid FilmFreeway submission

What are the deadlines and fees for DigiFest(R) Temecula 2020?
Earlybird Deadline (Nov. 1, 2019 - Jan 31, 2020):
- Professional: $20 USD
- Amateur: $10 USD
- Student: $5 USD
Late Deadline (Feb. 1, 2020 - Mar. 22, 2020):
- Professional: $25 USD
- Amateur: $15 USD
- Student: $10 USD

What are the submission requirements?
- Completed entry on FilmFreeway.
- Digital screener - Vimeo link (preferred) or Secure Online Screener.
- Submissions must be uploaded and submitted no later than the deadline date to qualify for the respective entry fees.
- Paid entry fee.

Is my film eligible for DigiFest(R) Temecula?
- DigiFest(R) Temecula eligibility requirements:
- Films must be no more than 30 minutes in length, credits included.
- If selected, films must be available for projection in DCP.
- All non-English-language films must have English subtitles.

Do you accept works-in-progress?
DigiFest(R) Temecula accepts only Final cuts

Do you accept films that are already available online?
Yes! DigiFest(R) Temecula does not require a premiere status, so online films are eligible.

Do I need to submit a DCP?
You will only need a DCP if you are selected in the Official Program. You do not need to have a DCP for consideration.

Do I need to submit a press kit or any other materials?
You do not need to provide any publicity materials with your official submission. The programming department will reach out to you directly with materials requests if they are needed.

When will I know if I've been selected?
Please check your messages on FilmFreeway if you do not receive an email by August 2, 2020
