About the festival

DCFF (Deptford Cinema Film Festival) is a Quarterly International Film Festival based in Deptford, South London at the community cinema Deptford Cinema. The festival aims to provide a platform for all types of long and short-form film, with a special focus on films from new and upcoming filmmakers. During the current circumstances, we will be holding the next festival season screenings online with an aim to hold a physical screening as soon as we reopen. We hope that contrary to impeding the festival, it will bring the screening to new audiences and increase attendance.

Please note that although not classified, most films will only be suitable for adults so please do not bring children to the screenings. Due to recent events, the festival will no longer accept films from agencies.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

Deptford Cinema is a completely volunteer-run community cinema based in the heart of South East London. We show a range of independent, underground, alternative and arthouse films in a cozy and intimate 39-seater auditorium. We also have a Gallery with regular exhibitions featuring local and emerging artists, and additionally - multiple, flexible creative environments in the venue. To find out more about Deptford Cinema, visit our website - www.deptfordcinema.org

If you'd like to get involved in running your own Screenings & Events, come along to our Weekly Volunteers Meeting - every Sunday at 11 am at Deptford Cinema.
