About the festival

CUFF (Community Underground Film Festival) is an annual festival and competition that takes place each year on the campus of Community College of Philadelphia. We seek to promote and foster the development of student AND community filmmaking, as well as the appreciation of film as a relevant and dynamic form of expression. Along with the competition, we program a number of talks by film professionals and film scholars, and we present screenings of relevant features and documentaries.

$5 EARLY SUBMISSION FEE FOR NON-CCP STUDENTS
$10 LATE SUBMISSION FEE FOR NON-CCP STUDENTS
NO SUBMISSION FEE FOR CCP STUDENTS ONLY

The competition consists of three categories of short films under 10 minutes:

Narrative
Documentary
CCP Student (for Community College of Philadelphia students only).

Selected films will be featured in a live screening at the festival on FEBRUARY 7, 2019.

Winners of the competition in each category will receive $100 in addition to the live screening. A grand jury prize of $200 is awarded to the short film that the judges deem the best in the competition.
