We're now submitting for #CISFFF2021! Thanks to our wonderful submitters, judges, and volunteers! #CISFFF2020 notifications went out Oct. 15th.
Our film festival season begins online Friday, Oct. 23rd. This year, we've selected 11 scripts, 28 shorts, 10 features, 4 music videos and 1 trailer (only) to screen. Screening submissions are generally eligible for awards, which we publish 1-2 weeks following conclusion of our live event.
Due to "pandemic" insanity, we're holding our film festivals online this year. Check it out, https://oneplusphi.vhx.tv/browse. Please purchase access $2/month, https://oneplusphi.vhx.tv/checkout/subscribe/purchase
Unless you've made special/alternative arrangements with us, your submission will be available to stream continuously through Nov. 13th. If you want to screen, please provide us with easy access ASAP to your submission download ONLY via FilmFreeway and/or Vimeo, MP4, 1920 x 1080. In a pinch, we're happy to download from We Transfer, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. You can send us a ZIP file via email. Please compress your files, https://vimeoott.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022894454-Video-Compression-Settings

Here's a festival announcement, https://infiniteperimeter.com/2020/10/23/colorados-3rd-sci-fi-fantasy-film-festival-goes-online/; here's another, https://infiniteperimeter.com/2020/09/16/home-for-halloween-online-scifi-film-festival-starts-oct-23rd/ Please watch for additional announcements and share with friends, family and fans. Thanks for sharing our links and your awards, posts and more with your social media; find us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram @InfinitePFilms
As we understand it, by screening online in a fixed-term, pay-wall enforced, official festival capacity, your submission is not earning revenue or being sold to consumers in a traditional VOD market and, therefore, remains viable for future sales opportunities.
We very much appreciate your positive reviews! In the event your submission has not been selected, you withdraw from the festival, etc., as long as your relationship with us is in good standing, you are still absolutely welcome to create & maintain your AIAFILMmakers profile; we are happy to host your trailer(s) indefinitely. Optional: Sign up for our mailing list. Please consult platforms & venues directly for rules and guidelines.
Last year's SciFi & Fantasy film event was held 10/20/2019, 3-9 PM, The Bug Theater, 3654 Navajo Street, Denver Colorado 80211, https://infiniteperimeter.com/2019/10/25/cisfff2019-colorado-intl-scifi-fantasy-film-festival-announces-award-winners/
We like "quirky" scifi and fantasy characters including mummies, monsters, aliens, space invaders, body snatchers and zombies ...the undead, especially politicians! We like space-related fantasies along the lines of Gravity (2013) and Daniel Espinosa's Life (2017). We like thrillers like The Thirteenth Floor (1999). We would love to showcase your expose similar to Peter Hyams' Capricorn One (1977), a government conspiracy thriller film about a Mars landing hoax.
We like docs like Behind the Curve by Daniel J. Clark that discuss alternative cosmological models & evolving associated cultural movements like "Flat Earth." We would love to showcase your documentary presentations like Thrive: What on Earth Will it Take? (2011) and The Principle (2014), which critique standard models.
We're interested in dramas & docs that explore evolving filmic, photographic & experiential technologies including VR, 360, gaming, motion capture, SFX, VFX and new lens & camera technologies. How did Luc Besson achieve all that awesome imagery in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017)? Who wasn't blown away by Ready Player One (2018)?
We like travel narratives & expeditions - both modern & ancient, documentary & dramatic. We especially like complicated time travel stories along the lines of Triangle (2009), Predestination (2014), Primer (2004), Looper (2012), In Time (2007), The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) and Timecrimes (2007).
We like dystopian stories like HULU's The Handmaid's Tale (2017). We love exploring strange futuristic worlds like Blade Runner 2049 (2017) where technological advances in robotics and artificial intelligence threaten to destroy the very fabric of humanity and the universe.
We anticipate submissions from many countries. Activists submit short & feature-length films, screenplays, music/songs, art and photos for consideration by our team of 3-8 judges, which may change seasonally. As our festival grows locally in popularity & sponsorship, we hope to invite partners & volunteers. We hope to hold panels and debates. In the meantime, our events may be lightly attended, so please plan accordingly.
All plans and practices are subject to change without notice. If you're interested in volunteering, helping judge submissions and/or writing film & music reviews, which we may publish at our websites, please don't hesitate to TEXT/CALL (720) 298-1524.
Depending on the number and types of submissions we receive, we may provide alternative and/or additional awards. Please consult our current Awards Master, https://infiniteperimeter.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/2020-Awards-Master-5820-Corrected-All-Rights-Reserved.pdf
We're happy to provide custom certificates to all film festival submitters upon request at the conclusion of our live event. Check out sample certificates, https://infiniteperimeter.com/2017-2019-awards-nominees-programs/
All donations go toward supporting filmmakers, photographers, artists, musicians & writers. You rock!
As our festival acquires sponsorship and funding, we hope to offer cash and other types of awards to talented activist filmmakers and creatives.
In the meantime, submitters, judges, volunteers & award winners are automatically enrolled in Association of International Activist Filmmakers (a $100 value).
You are invited to list the society on your portfolio/CV and create your complimentary profile w/ headshot, cover and link(s), https://aiafilmmakers.org/
