The fusion of different artistic styles is the best way to give free rein to creativity and get something new, unexpected and exciting. Images and music come together in a single work, the discovery of a way of making films from the still largely underestimated potential.
With this conviction, the Cultural Space ScambiaMenti opens the registration to participate to the forth edition of Cinemasuono Festival. Without any admission fee. This contest is born with the will to select and award three SILENT unpublished short movies. The works will be projected and musicated live at the opening of each of the three events of the third edition of Cinemasuono at ScambiaMenti, that will take place in Cervia in the evenings of 13th, 20th and 27th of July 2020.
Admission Criteria:
- The participants must be at least 18 years of age by April 30 2020.
- The author must sign a participation.
- Maximum length of the short movie: 15 minutes (with the exception of head and tail titles).
- It is not allowed sound in any form.
- The subject and style of the work are free.
The Festival Direction reserves the right to exclude the works that present content considered unsuitable, with specific reference to violence and pornography.

La fusione tra stili artistici diversi è il miglior modo per dare libero sfogo alla propria arte e ottenere qualcosa di nuovo, inedito ed entusiasmante. Immagini e musica che si fondono in un’opera unica, alla riscoperta di un modo di fare cinema dalle potenzialità ancora ampiamente sottovalutate.
Con questa convinzione lo Spazio Culturale ScambiaMenti apre le iscrizioni per partecipare alla seconda edizione di Cinemasuono Festival. Questo concorso a partecipazione gratuita nasce con la volontà di selezionare e premiare tre cortometraggi muti inediti. Le opere saranno proiettate e musicate dal vivo in apertura di ognuna delle tre serate della seconda edizione della rassegna Cinemasuono organizzata dallo Spazio Culturale ScambiaMenti, che si terrà a Cervia nelle serate del 13, 20 e 27 luglio 2020.
Parametri di ammissione:
- I partecipanti devono avere più di 18 anni.
- L’autore sottoscrive una liberatoria per i diritti di riproduzione dell’opera
- Durata massima dell’opera: 15 minuti
- Non è ammesso il sonoro
- L’argomento e lo stile dell’opera sono liberi
La Direzione (ScambiaMenti) si riserva di non ammettere le opere che presenteranno
contenuti ritenuti non adatti con particolare riferimento a violenza e pornografia.
The winner will be awarded with an official invitation for 8 days of artist residence during which he will be asked to create a new movies, using as a backdrop the territory of Cervia. Travel, food and lodging are included in the prize and offered
by “Cervia Turismo”.
In addition, on July 27 will be given the opportunity to the winner to attend the projection of his/her short movie. Also the second and third selected short movies will be awarded.

Il vincitore del concorso riceverà come premio un invito ufficiale per fino a 8 giorni di residenza artistica, durante i quali gli verrà richiesto di creare un’opera cinematografica a tema libero utilizzando come sfondo i luoghi del Comune di Cervia.
L’artista potrà accedere ai siti storici della città: i magazzini del sale ed il museo, la torre San Michele, le saline, le colonie di Milano Marittima e l’ex discoteca Woodpecker.
Viaggio, vitto e alloggio sono compresi nel premio e offerti da Cervia Turismo.
Inoltre, in occasione della seconda serata del Festival CinemaSuono che si terrà in data 20 Luglio, sarà data l’opportunità al primo classificato di presenziare alla première musicata dal vivo della sua opera, a seguito della cerimonia di premiazione.
Sono inoltre previsti riconoscimenti anche per il secondo e terzo classificato.
