9th Cinecipó - Insurgente International Film Festival
Regulation
Art. 1 - OF THE DATE AND LOCAL
I - The 9th Cinecipó will be held:
a) In October 2020 in Belo Horizonte-MG, Brazil.
Art. 2º - OF THE PURPOSE
I - The Cinecipo has the purpose of publicizing and displaying audiovisual works of short, medium and longfilm; fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, among other genres, with socio-environmental and ethnographic themes produced in any country. In addition to promoting training and capacity building activities in the areas of audiovisual and environmental education. As well as stimulating debate and environmental preservation.
II - To promote competitive exhibition of short films (up to 29 minutes), medium and feature with specialized jury and / or popular jury.
Art. 3 - REGISTRATION
I - Are able to register works with a socio-environmental and ethnographic theme, made as of January 1, 2019.
II - Foreign films should preferably have subtitles in Portuguese.
III - The emphasis of the curatorship and a free cinema, capable of confronting the single thought and that deal with themes that allow a socioenvironmental, ethnographic and gender reading that address issues of gender, agrarian and urban reform, indigenous issues, minorities, social movements , among others.
Art. 4º - APPLICATION FORM
I - The registrations are free and will be open in the period from 03/28/2020 to 05/15/2020 through this form, accessible from the site www.cinecipo.com.br
II - The person responsible must fill out the online registration form, whose submission implies the acceptance of this regulation.
III - Registrations can also be made through FilmFreeway
Art. 5 - OF THE SELECTION
A selection jury, nominated by the organizers, has selected, among the entries, the ones that will make up the exhibition grid of the festival.
Art. 6 - RESULT OF THE SELECTION
The producers (s) / directors of the selected works will be informed of the selection on 08/30/2020, and this term may be extended by the Festival organization.
Art. 7 - CIVIL LIABILITY
The Festival will not be liable for images and / or music of third parties used in the registered works, and any and all liens for copyright problems will fall exclusively on the director and / or producer of the film and / or the person responsible for the registration.
Art. 8 - GENERAL PROVISIONS
The Festival organization reserves the right to exhibit, free of charge, in cinema, television, internet and other mediums of stretch (maximum 1') or photo of the selected work, in order to publicize the Festival.
Article 9
The cases omitted in this regulation will be settled by the organization of the Festival, the decision being irrevocable.
Article 10
Enrolled participants agree to give away the right to display their films for the 9th Cinecipó sessions and for extra non-profit sessions organized or supported by Cinecipó, held in any location and on any date.
