About the festival

A fun filled three day event at the state of the art Epic Theatre in Mount Dora, Florida (40 minutes from Disney World) over the weekend of January 22nd through January 24th. Networking opportunities, panel discussions, screenings, excellent award show with guest presenters. Filmmaker meet and mingle networking functions will be held each night in the lounge at the theater.

All official selections receive one (1) free daily Moviewatcher pass, which includes access to the award show and all panel discussions.

Our festival was named to the "Top 25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" in MovieMaker Magazine - 2012 and received a top 100 Film Festival rating by FilmFreeway in September 2016. Come celebrate Independent Film with us.

Winning filmmakers in each category receives a beautiful plaque presented at our elaborate award show.

Terms and rules

1. Submitted film MUST have been completed AFTER June 1st, 2019

2. Decisions of the selection committee are final.

3. Entry Fee must be paid at time of submission.

4. All projects that are accepted into the festival must be submitted on DCP formatn to https://www.simpledcp.com/cenfloff2021 for exhibition at the festival theater. General submissions on FilmFreeway DO NOT have to be submitted in DCP format.

5. Finalists will allow their names and project titles to be used for advertising and promotions.

6. Filmmakers will allow clips from their projects to be used for advertising and promotion of the festival.
