About the festival

BIT BANG International Animation, Videogames and Digital Art Festival opens its call and invites you to be part of its sixth edition to be held from November 2nd to November 9th of 2020, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

BIT BANG disseminates and promotes innovative, experimental and authorial proposals through projections, exhibitions and competitions. We promote audiovisual creation in Argentina, orientated towards the development and consolidation of the industry as a cultural contribution on a worldwide level.

Since 2015 we have organized BIT BANG, a unique experience that each edition allows all those interested in art, creativity and innovation, to meet with the most important referents in the country and the world. It is a meeting point between animation, video games and digital art that enables collaboration between artists from different disciplines and generates the construction of new languages and other perspectives.
In previous years, the venues were CCK, Planetarium Galileo Galilei, Espacio INCAA Km 0 Gaumont, C3 Museum, Cosmos Uba Cinema, Da Vinci School, Otra Historia Club Cultural, Local, Club Lucero, Bar El Destello, Arcade Club Social, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. This year due to COVID-19 we still don't know if it will be an online Edition or not.

In this new edition that will take place from November 2nd to November 9th, BIT BANG welcomes you to these artistic proposals and to the fans and professional audiovisual community.

Mission

We place special emphasis on training and capacitation, for that during BIT BANG there are being held masterclasses, seminars, conferences and workshops. In addition to that, there are laboratories, spotlights, retrospectives, illustration contests, installations, exhibitions, game jams, escape rooms, arcades, making a film in 24 hours, and thematic parties. All activities are with free admission.
