ArtLightenment is a short Film Festival in Nashville Tennessee initially created to showcase visual artists. It has grown to include all genres of short films. Ideally the films should be
less than 10 minutes long. This year's theme is "DREAMS and our FUTURE". There is a visual art festival at the same time as the film festival, music and a final fashion show.
ArtLightenment festival is there to create collaboration, inspiration and community support amongst artists while promoting their work, films and careers to a larger audience.
Film Festival screenings Thursday Nov 9, 6:30pm to 10:00pm and Friday Nov 10, 6:30 to 10:pm. Awards Saturday November 11, 2017
ArtLightenment Crystal Trophy for the top film. The winner receives a $500 cash prize in addition.
There are awards for best director, screenplay, actor, actress,editor, musical score,sound design, documentary and awards for genres including drama, comedy, documentary, artist film etc.
