The FAO features high calibre local, national, and international artists working in the realm of animated objects. Programming includes live performances, screenings, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions for all ages, and adult audiences.
The art of mask and puppetry is alive in downtown Calgary. The Festival of Animated Objects (FAO) is a fantastical celebration of all things mask and puppet-like.
More than just puppetry, the FAO features a myriad of local, national, and international artists working in the broader realm of animated objects.
Fun, exotic and interactive, the FAO turns on the heat and adds sizzle to downtown with events for adult and family audiences.
