About the festival

Animaze and The Montreal International Animation Film Festival present the 7th annual Animation Day in Cannes (ADIC) held during the prestigious Cannes Film Festival May 2021. Due to the COVID19 pandemic we will host the selected films of 2020 during Animaze Montreal International Animation Films Festival Online version (dates to be announced).
We organize official market screenings for animation film and technology and present accolades and special prizes to the best animation film . Please contact us for a more expansive and dedicated market screenings of your film. We can service and organize at Cannes on behalf of your upcoming project including publicity and promotion during our social event during the Festival de Cannes 2020-2021.

In case of selection we will screen a short trailer (under 2.30 minutes). We can also screen a 5 minutes show reel or the full feature with an additional charge, covering screening costs respectively (1000€ / 2000€) Email us for details.

Description

Virtual reality animation projects of various conceptions and approach. Technology formatted content. All genres compatible with Oculus device. In case of different set-up, additional special screening technology must be supplied by the artist-director. Otherwise screening of a trailer made in flat 2D.

Pitch your latest animation project in real time or online at the Film Festival in Cannes 2021. Please note we are not able to provide accommodation or travel for this opportunity. We mayl be able to assist you in logistical travel planning and Cannes registration details but we do not pay for or have access to travel grants.
