About the festival

IV ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival will be held in Baku from 20 to 24 October 2021. The festival will show dozens of foreign and local animated films for children and adults for five days. The goal of the organisers is to create an annual event that will delight the local and foreign audience and professionals, as well as promoting art of animation in Azerbaijan.

IV ANİMAFİLM Beynəlxalq Animasiya Festivalı 20-24 oktyabr 2021-ci il tarixlərində Bakıda keçiriləcək. Festival beş gün ərzində uşaqlar və böyüklər üçün çəkilmiş onlarla yerli və xarici animasiya filmlərini təqdim edəcək. Təşkilatçıların məqsədi yerli və xarici tamaşaçıları, peşəkarları sevindirəcək, həmçinin Azərbaycanda animasiya sənətinin inkişafını təşviq edəcək illik tədbirin yaradılmasıdır.

Terms and rules

FOR FILMS:
- The film must be shot after January 1, 2019.
- More than 50% of the film must be an animation. There are no limitations in the animation techniques used in the film.
- One film can only participate in one category.
- Copyright of competitive films are regulated by international law. The participant (director, producer or other authorized person) who provides an animated film, declares that he is the copyright owner of the film and is authorized to screen the film at the festival.

FOR SCREENPLAYS:
- The script should be written after January 1, 2019.
- The script should be written specifically for a short animated film.
- The text of the script should not exceed 6000 characters.
- The screenplay should be in English or Azerbaijani languages.
- Copyright of competitive screenplays are regulated by international law. The participant (screenwriter or other authorized person) who provides a screenplay, declares that he is the copyright owner of the screenplay and is authorized to submit the screenplay at the festival.

Filmlər aşağıdakı şərtlərə uyğun olmalıdır:
- Filmlər 1 yanvar 2019-cu il tarixindən sonra çəkilməlidir;
- Filmin 50 %-indən çoxu animasiya olmalıdır. Filmdə istifadə edilən animasiya
texnikalarına məhdudiyyət qoyulmur;
- Bir film yalnız bir kateqoriyada iştirak edə bilər;
- Müsabiqə filmlərinin müəllif hüquqları beynəlxalq hüquqla tənzimlənir. Animasiya
filmini təqdim edən iştirakçı (rejissor, prodüser və ya digər səlahiyyətli şəxs) film üzərində hüququ olmasını və onun festivalda nümayişinə səlahiyyətli olduğunu bəyan edir;

Ssenari aşağıdakı şərtlərə uyğun gəlməlidir:
- Ssenari 1 yanvar 2019-cu il tarixindən sonra yazılmalıdır.
- Ssenari məxsusi olaraq qısametrajlı animasiya filmi üçün yazılmalıdır.
- Ssenarinin mətni probeldaxil 6000 işarədən artıq olmamalıdır.
- Ssenari ingilis və ya azərbaycan dillərində olmalıdır.
- Müsabiqə ssenarilərinin müəllif hüquqları beynəlxalq hüquqla tənzimlənir. Ssenarini
təqdim edən iştirakçı (ssenari müəllifi, prodüser və ya digər səlahiyyətli şəxs) ssenari üzərində hüququ olmasını və onun festivalda nümayişinə səlahiyyətli olduğunu bəyan edir.
