Each edition, we accept documentaries (any length) showing strong people, everyday life and challenges, incredible adventures, travels, journeys, testimonies, fights...

As an international festival we want to celebrate one of the most difficult genre to produce : documentaries.

Documentaries request high level quality writing, an exceptional production coordination, and a smart budget management.

Because of festival is dedicated to documentaries, you will get a specific recognition for the work you put together.

To us, documentaries are not just another category like in many film festivals. We think documentaries deserve more attention, and we want to contribute giving it to them.

WHAT WILL BE OUR SELECTION ?

We will only select all kind of documentaries. To ignite a debate, start a talk, share your vision and explorations, deepen your analysis on numerous topics... Explore the world,, bring these issues to the table, whether you shot it with a DSLR or a top 4K+ camera.

We accept all themes and langage. If not english speaking we require english subtitles.

Terms and rules

Your documentary may be any genre, any topic, any length.
English subtitles wills be required for the screening documentaries.
We only screen the winning documentaries of every category.

Entries are not refundable.
If you submit to the wrong category, your submission will be re-located under the right category if the fee corresponds.
Student entries must include a student ID / Status proof as an image downloaded within the FilmFreeway page.

Multiple entries are accepted.
The festival may not screen your documentary if you do not attend the event.

We value documentaries and most of all, the documentary filmmakers. In order to create a discussion between an audience and the movie creators, please confirm your attendance so we can secure your talking time.

Final screening program will be made accordingly with the finals votes of the Judges.

A selection does not guarantee a screening: only winners will screen. More movies may be added to the program based on available time and attending filmmakers.

It is the filmmaker's responsibility to provide the festival with the proper screening file.
Festival has the final say regarding the event program.
