About the festival

FILM SOCIETY OF LITTLE ROCK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COLUMBUS CREATIVE ARTS + ACTIVISM PRESENTS:

THE 2016 AFRICAN FOLKLORE FILM FESTIVAL (AF3)

The Film Society of Little Rock, in partnership with Columbus Creative Arts + Activism, presents the African Folklore Film Festival (AF3), February 17, 2016, proudly showing at The Studio Theatre, 320 W. 7th, Street, Little Rock, AR, 72201, 7:00 PM.

Witness Arkansas-made films, and picture shows from around the world that speak from the heart of darkness, the cadence of the motherland, and the comfort of home.

Fusing griot customs, mysticism, theatrics, and culture, the AF3 will conjure the spirit of African folklore with a twist. See guidelines for submissions below.

Screenings take place at The Studio Theatre & Lobby Bar. The bar serves beer & wine and is always open before, during, and after our screenings. So arrive early, have a drink during the show, and then stay after the screening to discuss your favorite films over drinks!
