Article 1
The Festival is open to all amateur and professional video makers. All productions in the following categories are admitted: fictions, documentaries, clips, animations, educational. Advertising, commercial and corporate videos are not admitted.
A producer may present more than one film (N.B. beyond 3 films, additional expenses will be invoiced).
Article 2
The maximal duration any category and inclusive credits is 30 ‘.
Article 3
Only productions made after 1st January 2016, and which meet the criteria of the present regulations, will be accepted.
Article 4
All films presented must be in French or subtitled in French.
Article 5
The movie for the preselection must be sent by digital way, in a downloadable version, or if it’s necessary, by post before April 15th, 2019.
In the case of sending of optical disks or USB ports, the association doesn’t make a commitment to send back except on request and at the expense of the director.
Article 6
Registration fees amount to 15€ for any commitment from 1 to 3 movies. They can be paid by:
- Paypal by using the address: cevenol@gmx.fr,
- transfer, after demand of the IBAN of the association.
Beyond 3 sent movies, additional costs will be asked, at the rate of 5€ by movie.
Article 7
Members of the jury may not submit films.
Article 8
The organisers undertake to ensure that films are not cut or modified while being shown in competition.
Article 9
Certain selected films will be awarded prizes ( gains according to the budgetary possibilities of the association) with a view to encouraging creation, innovation, research, etc…
Article 10
All prize-winning private or corporate entities undertake to provide a free copy of the prize-winning film for the Festival’s video library. The said copy may be used for the activities of the Ecran Cévenol Association, notably with regards to promotion of the event, within and outside the Lozère department and also on the Association’s web site. These movies can be also transmitted in other partner subject to agreement of the directors of the concerned movies.
Article 11
Video makers who have been pre-selected and are present at the Festival, may apply for refund of their travelling expenses subject to a limit of 100€ and presentation of receipts.
Article 12
Submission of films indicates acceptance of the present regulations. Decisions taken by the organisers, the Pre-selection Committee and the members of the jury are final.
