We greet you all on the behalf of NEPAL CULTURE AND FILM CENTER (NCFC). We are very glad to take this opportunity to introduce to you to the 2nd NEPAL CULTURAL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (NCIFF), which is going to be held from 27th to 29th April 2020 at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Toronto, Canada.
The festival will be held for five days where guests, delegates and the audience will be able to enjoy the inaugural ceremony, some quality full length films, short films, documentary films, women's films and children films along with ceremony of award giving.
Our mission is to explore and expose Nepal through cinetourism, cultural cinema and visit Nepal 2020 globally. We encourage students/independent filmmakers to attend and learn from our guest and judges about specific topics from the films, Film making, related media and the film business through screening.
Support from our sponsor will be used to produce the festival film, bring filmmakers and other artists to the host city for the mega event. We also invite professionals from the film industry to attend and spend a quality time at the festival premises in order to exchange cultural diversity globally.
Our first festival got immense success and exposure to the film community both national and international. Four hundred films were submitted from 21 different countries. We had well known film authors, consultant and juries from international level. Over 5000 of audiences joined and attend our festival.
The purpose of the NCIFF is to encourage young talent in film making and to promote children, women, cultural and teen films that are meaningful and inspirational across the world.The festival has some of the most famous, award-winning filmmakers from around the world, screening their films at the festival. These movies are the benchmark for what a good film should be: entertaining, clean, hugely inspiring and packed with moral values! NCIFF will also help Nepal with gathering some global exposure which it lacks.
