GENERAL RULES: Films submitted in the feature categories should be no less than 70 minutes and no more than 120 minutes in length. Films submitted in the Short categories must be no less than 2 minutes or more than 20 minutes in length. Films may be submitted electronically, or DVD and Blu-Ray disc can be mailed to Daytona Beach 2050, 118 Orange Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. A press kit is requested only if the film is selected, however, submitters are encouraged to include information they feel important to the films successful entry.
Submitting a film to 2050 Daytona Beach / WATCH2050, certifies that I am the rightful owner of the work submitted, and that I own all rights and releases necessary for public screening. By submitting this entry, I agree that 2050 Daytona Beach / WATCH2050, may publicly screen my work as well as use any submitted materials for any other publicity efforts. This film is not subject to any litigation nor is any litigation threatened. I am duly authorized to submit this film to Daytona Beach 2050 / WATCH2050. I am entirely liable for any claims that may occur as a result of screening or publicizing the film. I have read, understand, and agree to all entry guidelines and requirements.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE
a. No liability or responsibility is assumed by the 2050 Daytona Beach / WATCH2050 Committee resulting from any user's participation in or attempt to participate in the competition or ability (or inability) to upload (or download) any information in connection with participating in the Festival.
b. No responsibility or liability is assumed by 2050 Daytona Beach / WATCH2050 Committee for technical problems or technical malfunction arising in connection with any of the following occurrences which may affect the operation of the competition, including: hardware or software errors, faulty computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic, wireless or Internet connectivity or other online communication problems errors or limitations of any Internet service providers, servers, hosts or provider, garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions, failure of any e-mail transmissions to be sent or received, lost, late, delayed or intercepted e-mail transmissions, inaccessibility of the Web Site in whole or in part for any reason, traffic congestion on the Internet or the Web Site, unauthorized human (or non-human) intervention of the operation of the competition, including without limitation, unauthorized tampering, hacking, theft, virus, bugs, worms, or destruction of any aspect of the MFP, or loss, miscount, misdirection, inaccessibility or unavailability of an email account used in connection with Daytona Beach 2050 / WATCH2050.
c. Daytona Beach 2050 / WATCH2050 are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind which may be sustained to user's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from participation in the competition, use of the Web Site or the download of any information from the Web Site.
d. By participating in Daytona Beach 2050 / WATCH2050, participants agree to release, indemnify and hold Daytona Beach 2050 / WATCH2050 harmless from any and all claims, damages or liabilities arising from or relating to such participation in the Festival.
