About the festival

1ST MONTHLY FILM FESTIVAL has an international team of film directors, actors, directors of photography and producers that got together to create a space that celebrates FILMS and FILMMAKERS.

It’s our mission to see each FILM and give every FILMMAKER a chance to showcase their work and get an AWARD for it.

We care about FILMMAKERS and that is why we give each WINNER a JURY COMMENT about their FILM and promote it on our website, social media.

Every WEDNESDAY film of the week, Every SATURDAY winner interview. (Randomly chosen, Free Of Charge)

We offer multiple categories and the WINNERS will be announced every 1st of the month, because we want to be the once to give you the 1st good news of the month. Our jury members meet each month to announce the FINALISTS and the WINNERS.

Every WINNER from the categories nominated for the ANNUAL EVENT will have a chance to win 500 USD.

* THE ANNUAL AWARDS EVENT - will be held on 3th 4th 5th September 2021 in UK Stari Grad, Belgrade. The annual AWARD will be announced on the final day of the screenings.

All films must have English language subtitles.

All Film Festival entrants must by 18 years of age or older.

Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted, but a separate submission and a separate entry fee must accompany each entry.

No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.

The decision of the jury committee will be final.

1st Monthly Film Festival reserves rights change or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent or information to contestants.

The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.

By submitting, you agree that you own all copyrights and intellectual properties to your work.
