NOTICE: 1261 Film Festival Postponed Over Coronavirus Concerns; New Dates: Oct 30-Nov 03, 2020

The second annual 1261 Film Festival scheduled for May 02 through 09, 2020, has been postponed due to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and rising health concerns. The decision to postpone comes after the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr the Rt Hon. Keith Mitchell curtailed all regional and international commercial flights and issued a country-wide lockdown in attempts to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

The safety of our local community, filmmakers, partners, and the team is of utmost importance. We empathize with everyone affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and encourage all to remain safe. The dates indicated are tentative and we will update the public accordingly once we receive the green light from the Grenadian Government.

We look forward to coming together as a community soon and presenting our filmmaker's work that inspires, entertains, and empowers.

Stay Safe!
